Born and raised in Seattle, Andy played in the critically acclaimed Roosevelt High School Jazz Band, studied at the University of North Texas and has performed with numerous greats including Rashied Ali, Reggie Workman, Ravi Coltrane, Norah Jones, Stanton Moore, Mike Clark, Bobby Previte, Skerik, Mike Dillon, Karl Denson, Kyle Hollingsworth and many more Glide Magazine had this to say of Coe’s performance with the Rashied Ali Quintet: “Andy Coe’s fuzz-distorted solo…might have woken up the ghosts of at least a few guitar gods.”
