Mark “Murph” Murphy joined the Freddy Jones Band (‘In a Daydream’) in the late ’90s which found him touring with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Peter Frampton, and shows with Pete Townshend, Train, Gov’t Mule and more. He moved to the Bay area from Chicago in 2001 and immersed himself in the local jam band scene, playing with Izabella, Poor Man’s Whiskey, Tracorum, Stu Allen and Bizar Bazaar. He loves laying down a thick groove as well as embracing the element of chance, following the music wherever it may lead.
