New Monsoon Winter Harvest TXR Dec 7th

On Thursday December 7th New Monsoon will be celebrating at Terrapin Crossroads, Grate Room, with the ‘Winter Harvest’ concert. This is a special evening as the band will also be celebrating a decade with bassist Marshall Harrell. Marshall joined the full-time touring band in late 2007 and was thrust into the national touring circuit. Bringing a deep groove, a wealth of influences, and a calm Tallahassee Fla. demeanor, Marshall quickly became the perfect fit for the band. After this incredible decade, having played hundreds of shows, and releasing several recordings including ‘New Monsoon Live’ and ‘Diamonds and Clay’, we now will be wishing Marshall all the best in his next endeavor. He will be pursuing medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Marshall will continue to be the ‘first call’ bassist in the band and we will look forward to future shows.
