On May 18th, from the stage at the Sweetwater Music Hall, Bo announced the band would be running a Kickstarter for our upcoming studio album. The goal was to raise $10,000 in 30 days. (The money would go towards recording, manufacturing, and promotion.) Not only did we reach our goal, we surpassed it by 5K! We could not be happier and more thankful to all our friends and fans who gave so generously during those 30 days.
Shortly after the Kickstarter ended, with spirits running high, the band went into TRI Studios and began to lay down tracks. Michael Pinkham’s drums sounded huge reverberating through the Meyer Constellation System, and everyone agreed it was the perfect place to capture the band’s current material.
In the upcoming months the band will be working on overdubs – guitars, keyboards, vocals, etc. and then the album will be mixed and mastered. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but with such a solid start we’re sure it’s going to be our best release yet.
