Between playing festivals and local gigs this August, New Monsoon is busy at work on our next studio album. The Bay Area is rich with recording studios and we haves found the perfect one in Berkeley for the next phase of this project. Building on the incredible bass and drum tracks from TRI in San Rafael, we are now laying down vocals, keys, guitars and ripping solos on the new material at Charlie Wilson’s Sonic Zen Records. The songs are evolving and coming to life in a fantastically organic way. Of course we’re documenting the process and can’t wait to share some tasty bits with you.
